Um.
All I can say is yoicks.
The picture built by news media and the anarchists on the streets of Minneapolis of the peaceful, protesting, non-confrontational, sweet as pie VA nurse who was shot and killed during a scuffle with federal law enforcement last week is taking another serious thump to the solar plexus right now.
DIS GUY
Pretti is not the shrinking-violet caregiver he’s been made out to be, as his martyrdom becomes official.
Let me say at the top here that what happened to Alex Pretti was a horrific ending to a set of events that, at any time, ALEX PRETTI had within his power to avoid.
And wind up leaving alive. Yes, he had every right in the world as a CCW holder to have a weapon on him.
However, Alex Pretti did not have any identification or his permits on him as required by law, so no, he was not allowed to be there with that weapon. He was not carrying legally.
Part of owning and carrying a firearm is the fact that your good judgment is assumed when they issue that permit – that you will use it when determining when you have your weapon, and when you wield it.
Alex Pretti’s judgment was suspect in that regard. One of the absolute best explanations of the entire tragic encounter – for both Pretti and the officers involved, who had a chaotic situation and split-second decisions – is Fox’s Joey Jones.
Joey Jones brilliantly lays out the facts in the Minnesota shooting…just the facts, without the political BS.
If there’s anybody else in the room when Pres Trump and Gov Walz meet…it should be Joey. pic.twitter.com/SHsbA9EtU2— David Asman (@DavidAsmanfox) January 26, 2026
Jones also makes what is now a very salient point – we don’t see the ten minutes before the video starts. Some call him a protester, an innocent bystander, while the rest of us consider Pretti to have been part of the anarchist agitators.
We now know he wasn’t organically drawn to a ruckus on a street corner. The Cam Higby Signal chat revelations have exposed Pretti (and Renee Good, for that matter) as part of the organized resistance movement, orchestrated with military precision through these encrypted chat rooms.
A web of encrypted chats and databases show that protesters were mobilized at the scene in Minneapolis, Minnesota, before the death of Alex Pretti.
The encrypted chats, reviewed by Fox News Digital, show that protesters were tracking Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “abductors” and were already at the location where Alex Pretti, 37, was before he was shot.
Pretti wasn’t merely observing. He had been seen actively engaged in blocking traffic and directing other vehicles away.
We can now pretty much conform Alex Pretti was a member of the SIGNAL CHAT TERROR group actively hunting ICE AGENTS in Minneapolis.
Week prior he was tailing ICE AGENTS on arrests of criminals in the city.
Meaning he was involved in the LICENSE PLATE READING scandal. pic.twitter.com/fNtIOfUwPE

As for the halo they have settled around the late Pretti’s head as a non-violent defender of the weak, the News Movement has just released an astonishing video.
There were initially lots of questions about it, but according to Mary Margaret Olohan, the Star Tribune has confirmed with Alex Pretti’s parents that the man in the video is their son.
The CBS Evening News ran the video, and the Daily Mail has also just dropped the story online.
A protester who appears to be Alex Pretti was filmed spitting at a federal SUV, smashing its tail light and fighting with cops 11 days before the shooting that shocked America.
Facial analysis of the new video has been given a 97 percent probability that the man in the footage was Alex Pretti, according to The News Movement.
The Department of Homeland Security said that they are investigating the footage.
…In the new video, the man believed to be Pretti is seen wearing an identical brown outfit to the one the nurse wore on the day of his death.
The clip begins with him angrily spitting at the window of the Ford Expedition SUV filled with federal officers conducting raids to arrest illegal migrants, with the man believed to be Pretti heard screaming ‘F*****g trash’ at officers.
As the Ford begins to pull away, the furious agitator angrily kicks its tail light, shattering it.
An officer then gets out of the car and fights with the man believed to be Pretti, pinning him to the ground as bystanders jeer and scream.
The protester’s hat comes off and displays the same male pattern baldness seen atop Pretti’s head during his final moments on Saturday.
It was taken eleven days before Pretty was shot, and it completely destroys the sainted character narrative that has been carefully constructed around this man.
Do watch and listen to the journalists’ narration of their original video, done as part of the documentary they were filming on the Minneapolis unrest.
EXCLUSIVE: On January 13th, The News Movement filmed a man who appears to be Alex Pretti interacting with federal immigration agents. Our footage was analyzed by the BBC, whose facial recognition technology confirmed his identity to a 97% degree of accuracy. We were filming a documentary about ICE activity in Minneapolis when we received a tip that federal agents were blocking a street, and captured this footage. Reporting by Dan Ming, Dallin Mello, and BBC Verify.
In this clash, Alex Pretti had a gun in his rear waistband and still physically attacked the law enforcement vehicle as they left. He then violently resisted, was wrestled to the ground, thumped, and released.
It sure doesn’t look like he took time to inform them he was carrying, in between the spitting and the kicking, does it?
Maybe I missed something.
But this man has obvious anger issues and zero judgment.
Or did.
This may also be the cracked rib incident that came to light a couple of days ago.
…The man, who appeared to have a gun in his waistband like Pretti did, then picked up his belongings that came off in the scuffle and walked away.
The officers he had been fighting with appeared to be ICE or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents.
On Tuesday, it was revealed Pretti had an altercation with federal officers that saw him break a rib before his killing.
It could not be immediately confirmed whether the new clip depicts the moment of the bone breakage and whether it was filmed before or afterwards.
The man believed to be Pretti in the video did not appear to be arrested for causing damage to federal property.
I am absolutely baffled why Pretti wasn’t, if not outright arrested for the damages, at least rousted for the weapon he didn’t declare.
As I told John when we were discussing this (and squinting at it), maybe the feds were simply disgusted and wanted to leave. You do reach that level after a certain point of incessant, vile abuse and being under constant threat.
Alex Pretti was part of that rage network and clearly a willing, unhinged, hate-filled participant engaging in violent actions against officers.
Again, this doesn’t at all mean Pretti deserved to die a week and a half later, and this encounter had technically nothing to do with what eventually happened.
But it sure explains a lot about how that last, fatal confrontation came about and why those chances to stand down were never seized.
These anarchist footsoldiers are hardcore dogmatic drones.
They don’t erupt spontaneously onto the streets, dropping the dishcloth they were using to dry plates to defend Juan Valdez next door…or Samatar Abdi from Modadishu…as ICE rolls up their shared driveway in a surprise visit.
The Goods, Prettis, and rest of the Signalers go to where ICE is and form a line of battle where there’d be none otherwise.
They take the fight to the feds, and they throw that first punch every time.
And they’re into throwing things, phony martyr’s halo or not.
The perfect guy. The guy you want to date your daughter.
Last night on CNN.
Ana Navarro: Alex Pretti was the perfect guy. He’s the guy that you want to date your daughter. He’s the man you want your son to be. They can’t malign him because we have the videos.
Turns out Ana didn’t have all the videos. pic.twitter.com/M7s3zBS8JQ
