Twin Cities Law Enforcement Abandons Hotel to Mob – HotAir

During the civil rights era, local officials defied the federal government to the point of coordinating with the Klan and ensuring that local law enforcement looked the other way as hideous crimes were committed.

They were defending their values, you see.

The same thing is happening right here in Minnesota. Our politicians and elements within our criminal justice system are coordinating with criminals to disrupt federal law enforcement officers doing their jobs, create chaos and even violence around them, and, when the officers are at their most vulnerable, to abandon them to the mob.

That is not a hyperbolic comparison, although no doubt many people would deny the comparison. But that denial is not based on the reality of what is happening, but rather on their opinion that the segregationists were evil and the anti-ICE people are good. In other words, it is not the lawlessness to which they object, but rather who gets to be lawless.

Everybody’s eyes are on the Twin Cities because this is ground zero for the chaos and violence, but few think about WHY that is the case. By far the most deportations are taking place in southern states, but there is no chaos, violence, or even deaths. That is because federal, state, and local officials work together to ensure that there aren’t any. The public is kept safe because public safety is the goal of everybody involved.

I analyzed public databases and media reporting on violent confrontations with ICE over the past year.

Just 9 counties accounted for TWO-THIRDS of violent confrontations with ICE in America.

This is twice all violent confrontations in the remaining 3,134 counties COMBINED.

A violent confrontation in these 9 counties was 590 TIMES more likely than any of these other 3,134 counties.

590 times.

I plotted these 9 counties, and I found that all 9 counties are sanctuary jurisdictions run by Democrat politicians that resist immigration law enforcement.

These violent confrontations are RARE in states and cities where local officials cooperate with law enforcement.

Here in Minnesota, state and local officials, from the governor down to the mayors and city councilors, are directly coordinating with the Black Bloc instigators to amp up the violence, and when the violence erupts, the police chiefs order their officers AWAY to allow the rioters to attack the federal agents. They incite violence, threaten federal officials with illegal prosecutions, and alert the rioters where to go.

Governor Walz’s political operatives administer Signal chats, directing the rioters and telling them to “put their bodies on the line” to “defend their neighbors.”

Every single ICE and Border Patrol operation has been aimed at picking up an accused or convicted felon, many of whom have abused children. Yes, others have been picked up in the midst of the operations, but there are no immigration sweeps—officers with warrants are executing them, and when other illegal aliens are caught as they do so, they are arrested as well. But that is only happening because local officials will not turn over arrestees in jail. The reason why these felons are on the streets in the first place is that local officials let them onto the streets.

The organized agitators who are working with local officials get tipped off to where ICE operations are going on, or to where federal officials are staying, and things like this happen:

And what do the local police do when this happens? Watch:

Yes, that’s right. The local police turn them over to the modern variant of the KKK, the Black Bloc rioters. They are organized, include local officials, and they are attacking federal agents to force them to quit enforcing federal law because they don’t like the laws.

Sound familiar?

“Where’s the local PD?” It’s a good question, and we all know the answer. A mob attacks a local hotel, trashes it, attacks federal law enforcement officers, and apparently injures some, and the locals are nowhere to be found because they refused to do their jobs.

Minneapolis’s Chief of Police has already said that it is irrelevant whether the officers involved in the fatal shootings were justified. His position, along with the mayor and the governor, is that federal agents are not welcome and presumptively guilty. The governor has called ICE the “Gestapo” and “executioners,” and intends to prosecute them for doing their jobs.

They say they are doing this to protect ‘Minnesota Values,’ as if Minnesota is not part of the United States and is not subject to federal law. It is the same as “Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, and segregation forever.”

Editor’s note: If we thought our job in pushing back against the Academia/media/Democrat censorship complex was over with the election, think again. This is going to be a long fight.
