This seems strangely … specific. After nearly two years, people pray every day for some sort of breakthrough that would get the hostages out of Gaza, both living and dead. Unfortunately, Hamas doesn’t respond to prayers, except those for continuing their terrorism as the means to annihilate Israel.
Ambassador Mike Huckabee knows this better than anyone. Thus, when he tells Fox & Friends that we should pray about such an outcome “in the next few hours,” it suggests that something may be afoot:

Today? Has something changed? Not according to Israeli media, which has mainly focused on Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN. The Israeli Prime Minister has not announced a deal or anything close to it, choosing instead to castigate the UN for siding with terrorism and declaring in Hebrew that he will bring all of the hostages home. That last message was intended for a very specific audience:

The Prime Minister’s Office instructed the Israel Defense Forces to broadcast Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Friday speech to the UN General Assembly live to residents in the Gaza Strip.
After reports Friday morning that the IDF was ordered to disperse loudspeakers on trucks throughout the Strip, the PMO confirmed that it was planning to play the speech live for Gazans, but asserted that it would only be doing so from the Israeli side of the border.
But contrary to the claim, some of the loudspeakers — mounted on trucks and cranes — were brought to army posts inside the Strip, including those more than a kilometer deep in the territory, according to the IDF.
Netanyahu had more to say to the rest of the world as well:

Given that some Western leaders and most of the Abraham Accord partners demand a path to statehood as part of a peace deal in Gaza, it doesn’t appear that any deal would emerge today. In contrast, Netanyahu extolled the new Syrian government for their willingness to discuss a security agreement, and called for direct talks with Lebanon for a comprehensive peace deal. Netanyahu was more blunt with Hamas:

That doesn’t sound like a deal will emerge in “the next few hours,” or in the next several days. The Jerusalem Post reports that the discussions at the moment still center on Tony Blair’s proposal, which simply assumes a Hamas-free Gaza with no real plan for achieving that status. The only real news is that Blair now proposes to run Gaza himself at the top of his interim structure:
Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has proposed leading a transitional governing authority in Gaza following the end of the Israel-Hamas war, according to reports by The Telegraph and The Economist.
The plan, developed through the Tony Blair Institute (TBI), involves the creation of a temporary administration called the Gaza International Transitional Authority (GITA). GITA would be established under United Nations auspices and serve as the governing authority in post-war Gaza for several years before transferring control to the Palestinian Authority (PA), pending internal reforms.
Blair, 72, reportedly offered to head the interim body on the condition that it would eventually return power to the Palestinian Authority. According to The Economist, Blair is prepared to devote his time to implementing the proposal.
Perhaps what we should pray for at this moment is clarity. Hamas will not concede; they will only disappear when completely defeated. The only entity that could get them to pull out now is Iran. Not even the Doha Billionaire Boys Club has enough influence now to achieve that end. Netanyahu’s pledge to defeat them quickly may be the only “peace plan” worth implementing now — and when terrorists start wars, it may be the only worthwhile policy anyway.
