National Guard members shot in Washington identified as Sarah Beckstrom and Andrew Wolfe

National Guard members shot in Washington, D.C., are identified as Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and Andrew Wolfe, 24.

Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, said at a Thursday news briefing that the guard members were hospitalized in critical condition after Wednesday afternoon’s shooting.

FBI Director Kash Patel says the shooting is being investigated as an act of terrorism.

The suspect, who has been living in Washington state, has been identified by law enforcement officials as Rahmanullah Lakanwal. He drove cross-country before the attack and faces assault and weapons charges, officials say.
