I was once asked by my father—a couple of years ago—if there was a single Democrat in office whom I respected.
The answer was easy: Ro Khanna.
Obviously, I agree with Khanna on very few things and strongly oppose his positions on most public policy issues. But I thought Khanna was smart, honest, and well-meaning, and one of the few politicians who didn’t lie his arse off all the time. I could see having a conversation with him without feeling the need for a long, hot shower.
Welp. Another one bites the dust.
Now that Khanna is obviously preparing to run for president, he has sold his soul to the devil, and he makes my skin crawl. Perhaps even more than Gavin Newsom, who has always been a sociopath. Khanna, I thought, was better than that.
Khanna, who has always been a man of the left, made his political career representing Silicon Valley. He was a perfect fit for the Valley because he made all the right social justice noises while also being very entrepreneur-friendly. So it surprised his constituents, whose entire business model is bet big, fail often, and then strike it rich with a hit, to see their representative become an enthusiastic promoter of the wealth seizure initiative that would impose a 5% tax on wealth, including unrealized capital gains.
This was not only a betrayal of Khanna’s constituents and a reversal of his support for entrepreneurism, but it was also a horrific economic policy that has driven $2 trillion of wealth out of California. Not even Gavin Newsom was dumb enough to support it, and there is no way in hell that Khanna thinks it is smart policy, let alone fair. Unrealized capital gains can disappear overnight, and taxing them would also take some companies out of founders’ control, forcing them to sell shares to pay the tax.
But at least that was just playing to the populist base, and not outright immoral. Khanna is now descending into the gutter to get some populist cred.
Khanna’s big dive into the gutter has been his histrionics over the Epstein files. He has slandered four innocent men on the floor of the House for no other reason than he wanted attention. He named them as wealthy and powerful Epstein buddies, when in fact they didn’t even know the guy.
OMG 🤣 I think the DOJ set a trap for Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna
Remember when Rep Ro Khanna announced the names of several individuals who were basically Epstein pedophiles.. the Trump admin was “hiding”? Massie did too.
Turns out, they had absolutely no idea who they were,… pic.twitter.com/eDopvTN76A

Having done so on the floor of the House, Khanna is protected by the Speech and Debate Clause, so he can’t be sued for defamation, but had he made his accusations anywhere else, Khanna would be in settlement talks already. He tossed innocent men to the wolves for attention, which is about as slimy a move as you can imagine. At least when Harry Reid lied about Mitt Romney’s taxes and smiled about it, Romney wasn’t a poor schlub with no ability to defend himself.
So one of the four men that Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna falsely accused of being apart the Epstein Ring was a Brooklyn auto-mechanic who was fired when Khanna read his name on the house floor. I’d imagine he’s also lost all his friends as well.
Thankfully after it came out that… pic.twitter.com/tdrrySTiW4

Thankfully after it came out that he was just involved in a FBI lineup they hired him back.
Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna almost destroyed this innocent man’s life because they were too stupid to do their homework.
Worse than Harry Reid. How low can you go?
This low:
First, he read the names of four completely random people on the House floor and claimed they were complicit in Epstein’s crimes.
Now, his guest to SOTU is the woman who recruited underage girls for Epstein and compared herself to the Heidi Fleiss of Palm Beach. https://t.co/bs2QyCn7wI

Khanna is bringing an “Epstein victim” to the State of the Union and throwing accusations about Trump running interference for child abusers. As Democrat after Democrat gets exposed as an Epstein associate and co-conspirator, and Trump was revealed to have assisted the investigation into Epstein, the Democrats are doing their usual “invert the truth” move and accusing Trump of being a pedophile.
Have you spoken to co-sponsor Ro Khanna about the $31,100 he’s taken from Reid Hoffman—who’s named in the Epstein files—over the last decade? $7,000 was donated just a month before Khanna wrote the ‘privacy clause’ now being used to redact names. Why the conflict? pic.twitter.com/FqD8KEoNoJ

As part of this incredibly slimy sewer politics, Khanna is bringing an Epstein RECRUITER to the State of the Union, and calling her a “victim.”
Ro Khanna is bringing a sex trafficker to the State of the Union.
This person spent two years recruiting girls for Epstein. She was an adult for at least some of the time that she was recruiting. She sent her friends to Epstein.
Anything for some political theater, right Ro? pic.twitter.com/38VcCvHJjj

Haley Robson, the “heroic survivor” of Epstein’s abuse, actually was paid to recruit girls for Epstein’s pleasure. She was actually pretty proud of doing so, calling herself the “Heidi Fleiss” of Palm Beach.
During a 2005 interview with Palm Beach police, Robson said she first met Epstein in approximately 2003, just after she turned 17, according to an affidavit the police department prepared while investigating the financier and others.
A friend told her she could earn $200 by giving Epstein a massage, Robson told the police investigators. She decided to go. But Robson, who told the police she was naked when she massaged Epstein, became uncomfortable. “He tried to touch me and I stopped him,” she told the police.
“After the massage, Epstein stated to Robson that he understood she was not comfortable, but he would pay her if she brought over some girls,” the police affidavit summary of Robson’s interview stated. “He told her the younger the better.”
Tempted by the financial offer, Robson said she agreed.
In all, Robson said she brought at least six girls between the ages of 14 to 16 to Epstein. According to the police affidavit, Robson said she briefed each girl about what to expect: “They were told they would provide a massage, possibly naked, and allow some touching.”
At the conclusion of the interview, a police sergeant entered the room “and explained to Robson that based on her own statements, she had implicated herself by bringing underage girls to Epstein’s house,” the police affidavit said.
That, to me, is not the testimony of a heroic survivor, but of a girl who aspired to become a madam, providing young, fresh meat to a man she knew would sexually abuse young girls.
This is Haley Robinson.
“I’m a Heidi Fleiss.”
She’s not a victim. This is the hoax part. https://t.co/XfSB0Qd1oZ pic.twitter.com/lxuBHZbKxK

“The 14-year-old victim told police she was terrified to come forward because she feared Robson would retaliate against her or her family.”
I am absolutely appalled that Representative Ro Khanna is bringing Haley Robson as his guest to the upcoming State of the Union address!… https://t.co/CtN5uBDF8x pic.twitter.com/tqA0mNwsoa

And Khanna is, apparently, proud to associate himself with her acts, calling them “heroic.” Who is he, Scott Weiner?
Khanna is selling his soul for a shot at the presidency. It is gross, and it will not even pay any dividends, unless he believes he will gain a cabinet position in a Newsom administration.
It’s not only power that corrupts. It is the lust for power itself that does.
